Yes, we believe the Much Luvv Records song, “Keep On” is a Christian song that will require Christian dancers. We believe dance is a form of worship and if it isn’t done in the spirit of Christ and in the truth of His word, then it becomes merely another worldly dance for entertainment purposes only.
Two people are the minimal requirement to compete, but there are no limits as to how many can be in a group.
Yes, we don’t mind parts of other dances in the choreographed routine, but we do not want a complete dance choreography that has already been done and copy written. We encourage originality from God’s young people. We also prefer a dance during the chorus that the world can easily catch on to and enjoy.
It is a fun and exciting way to allow Christian youth of all ages to create an original dance movement to spark creativity and freedom from worldly dances that are degrading. Dances such as the Stanky Leg and Superman have very inappropriate meanings behind them. It is time to raise up a new standard for the world to follow. Also, we need to find the best dance for the new song, “Keep On.”
An event of this magnitude costs us money to put on. Administrative, promotional, and video production costs are all for this to be successful. Your registration goes towards those expenses.
The dance will be judged by Tre9 & Corey Paul who are looking for the best dance for their song. Chris “ColCutz” Gamez, professional dance choreographer and b-boy will also judge. America’s Best Dance Crew Season 5 Southern Regional Finalists, Ghost Crew, will also take part in the judging. Check them out on youtube at:
